Under supervision, this position will perform engineering duties including, but not limited to, report writing, preparing civil engineering related design packages that include construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for complex utility projects. Inspect construction activity to ensure compliance with contract documents. Perform and oversee quality control reviews of designs prepared by others, including electrical, mechanical, and architectural designs. Assist in the procuring and administering professional services and construction contracts. Participate in the preparation of project schedules and budgets. At times workloads require the position accomplish several projects concurrently. The position is expected to prepare plans within a computer aided design environment. Perform other related duties as required.
