PRV Control Valve Train the Operator

Where: AWWU’s Ship Creek Water Treatment Facility in Anchorage

When: July 22 – 23

Cost: $2500.00 per student – includes the PRV, pilot system, materials, and course fees (transportation and lodging not included).

Goal: To not only make operators familiar and comfortable with PRV’s, but to be able to create a regular maintenance and operations program that will fit each participants utility. Operators will be issued a PRV and pilot system that they will design, construct, and live commission to get the best possible hands-on experience. Each will keep their finished valve to bring back as a training aid at their utility.

Brought to you by our AWWA Director, Joe “JP” Polowy, our class instructors Ray Velazquez of Cimco-GC Systems, George Aguilar of Cla-Val USA and the Ship Creek Water Treatment Facility Distribution Operations crew.
